Advanced Driving Courses
1. Accident Avoidance and Skid Control Course
This is a full one day course consisting of theory and practical training in a motor vehicle. Topics such as the mechanical layout and basic workings of a motor vehicle, common causes of road accidents, how to determine and prevent motor vehicle accidents, the relationship between accident types and causes and how to survive driving emergencies are covered.
Practical in car training will teach the participant the different braking techniques, vehicle dynamics and how to control a skidding motor vehicle.
The participant will use DDA vehicle/s.
Pre-requisites
Valid drivers license and signing of indemnity. Price includes registration, all training costs, refreshments, lunch and certificate of completion of course.
2. Driver Rehabilitation Course
A full one day course aimed specifically at the individual who suffers from Vehophobia (the fear of driving) due to being involved in a motor vehicle accident as the driver or passenger or fear of driving in specific situations or conditions such as through a tunnel, changing lanes, merging, wet roads or high speeds.
A theoretical session is followed by in car practical training in simulated conditions.
The participant will use DDA vehicle/s.

3. Introduction to 4x4 Course
An introductory course in the basics of 4x4 driving. The typical participant is the first time 4x4 vehicle owner who wants to learn the basic techniques of off-road driving and recovery. The training will familiarise the driver with all the 4x4 applicable features of his/her vehicle.
The participant will use his/her own vehicle.
A one day course presented at our premises at the Tzaneen Show Grounds cater for both the male and female participants.

IMPORTANT:
Please wear comfortable closed shoes - sandals, flip-flops, Crocs or ‘high heels’ are not appropriate for practical training sessions.
